Creating your portal account

Register for the patient portal so you can book, pay, and message your clinic online.

No login required. This article is public — anyone with the URL can read and follow it.

Overview

Once your clinic has registered you as a patient, you can create a portal account to access your records online. The portal lets you book, view invoices, read prescriptions, and message the clinic.

Prerequisites

  • The email address you used when enrolling at the clinic
  • Internet access

Steps

Open the registration page. Go to https://app.mydentalpractice.ng/patientportal/register.

Enter your email. Must be the same email your clinic has on file. The system links the new account to your existing patient record by email.

Set a strong password. At least 12 characters, mix of upper-case, lower-case, numbers, and symbols.

Confirm the password. Re-type to catch typos.

Tick "I agree to the terms". Read the terms and privacy policy first.

Click "Create account". A verification email goes to the address you entered.

Open the email and click the verification link. Link expires in 24 hours.

Sign in. Return to https://app.mydentalpractice.ng/patientportal/login. Enter your email and password.

Land on your dashboard. First-time check: your profile shows the right clinic, the right name. If anything's wrong, update from the Profile page.

Expected outcome

  • Your portal account exists and is email-verified
  • The account is linked to your clinic's patient record
  • You can sign in and see your appointments, invoices, prescriptions
