Uploading documents to your record
Send your clinic insurance cards, IDs, prior X-rays, lab results.
Overview
Your portal lets you upload PDFs, photos, and X-rays directly to your patient record. Useful when your clinic asks for a scanned ID, insurance card, or X-ray from another provider.
Prerequisites
- Signed-in portal account
- The file to upload (under 25 MB each)
Steps
Open Documents. Side menu → Documents.
See existing documents. Files your clinic has uploaded for you (X-rays, treatment plans) and any you've sent.
Click "+ Upload".
Pick the file. Browse from device, or take a photo (mobile).
Categorise the file. ID, Insurance Card, External X-ray, Lab Result, Other.
Add a description. "ID copy", "BCBS insurance card 2026", "X-ray from Dr. Smith".
Click "Upload". Progress shows; on completion, file appears in your documents list.
Verify your clinic received it. They'll see it on your record. You can message them to confirm.
Expected outcome
- The file is in your patient record at the clinic
- Categorised so the right staff can find it (Insurance Card → Billing tab; ID → identity verification)
- You can view, download, or delete
Troubleshooting

| Wrong category | Edit after upload | Click the doc → Edit |
| Mobile camera permission denied | Browser blocks camera | Allow in browser settings |
| Upload fails repeatedly | Network or filetype | Try a different file format (PDF preferred) |
| Want to delete | Documents tab → file → Delete | Soft-delete; clinic can restore within 30 days |
