Performance reviews
Conduct periodic staff reviews — set objectives, score, document.
Overview
Quarterly or annual performance reviews evaluate staff against objectives. The platform stores reviews per employee with scoring rubrics, comments from manager and self.
Prerequisites
- Owner, Admin, or HR Manager role
hr_modulefeature flag- Review template configured (HR Settings → Review templates)
Steps
Open Performance. HR → Performance.
Click "+ New review". Pick employee, period (Q1 2026, Annual 2026, etc.).
Pick a template. From the configured templates — usually one per role family.
Set objectives. From the previous review, plus new ones. Each objective has a description, weight, and target.
Self-assessment by employee. They fill in scores and comments per objective.
Manager assessment. Manager fills in their scores. System highlights gaps between self and manager.
1:1 meeting. In-person discussion to reconcile views, set next-period objectives.
Finalise. Both sign off. Final score computed; archived against the employee record.
Action items. Promotion, pay change, training plan — captured in the review's outcomes.
