Personal profile
Update your name, photo, contact info, and notification preferences.
Overview
Your personal profile is what colleagues and patients see when they look at your name in the app. Keeping it accurate is small but important — it builds trust and prevents misunderstandings.
Prerequisites
- Any authenticated role
- A photo of yourself, ideally professional
Steps
Open your profile. Avatar → My Profile.
Switch to the General tab. Personal info shown.
Update name. First, last, optional middle. Used in clinical notes and patient-visible places.
Upload profile photo. Click the avatar to upload. JPEG/PNG, square ideal. Auto-cropped.
Update contact info. Phone (used for emergencies), alternate email (for password recovery if primary breaks).
Add credentials. Dentists: license number, specialties, qualifications. Shown on referrals and in patient-visible profile.
Set communication preferences. What channels reach you for in-app events — see Notification preferences.
Save. Changes take effect immediately. Some (license number) require Admin/Owner re-verification.
Expected outcome
- Your profile reflects current info
- Profile photo displays in nav, chat, and clinical artifacts
- Audit log entry records the change
Troubleshooting
