HMO statements and aging

Track outstanding HMO claims, aging buckets, and reconciliation reports.

Overview

HMOs frequently pay slowly. Tracking aging — how long claims have been outstanding — is essential for cash flow management. The HMO Statements page is your aging dashboard.

Prerequisites

  • Owner, Admin, or Billing Staff role
  • hmo_module feature flag
  • At least one claim submitted

Steps

Open HMO reports. Top nav → HMO → Reports.

Pick "Aging" tab. Shows claims grouped by days outstanding.

Read aging buckets. 0-30, 31-60, 61-90, 90+. Each shows count and total amount.

Sort by provider. Aggregate aging per HMO — see which providers pay slowest.

Drill into 90+. Old claims most at risk; phone the provider; escalate; mark as bad debt if unrecoverable.

Generate provider statement. Statement → Provider dropdown → date range. PDF lists all claims, payments, outstanding amount.

Send statement to provider. Email generates and sends. Useful for monthly reconciliation.

Reconcile receipts. Daily HMO payments tab — match incoming bank deposits against expected per claim.

Expected outcome

  • Aging visible at a glance
  • Per-provider statements for reconciliation
  • Bad debts identifiable
